Paraglider Spots Woman Trapped On Sinking Car, Saves Her Life
November 4, 2022
A man came from the skies like a guardian angel.
Paraglider Cristiano Piquet went out for a Sunday flight in South Florida and spotted a woman clinging to her submerged vehicle in a canal.

Piquet was recording his flight near Homestead when he saw the woman clinging onto her car for dear life.
He quickly landed and ran to her aid. He then sought help from a resident nearby, who can be seen in the video using ropes to pull the woman to safety.
Piquet said he's blessed to have been paragliding that day because his aerial view of the wreck likely saved her life.
