Brazilian Family Adopts The Pig They Planned To Eat For Christmas
December 30, 2018
A family in Ceará, Brazil, ended up adopting a pig they planned on eating for Christmas dinner.

Estael Maurício bought the pig, now named "Rosinha", to fatten her up and eat for Christmas dinner – a customary tradition for special events in Latin America.
But he and his wife and children fell in love with the pig and decided to adopt her instead.
According to Estael, Rosinha is considered one of the family. She eats the same food as the family, she receives a daily bath, and she sleeps next to the couple's bed at night.
