Ruby Red Rosettes

I’m with the NDIS and I have just started working with a new support worker.

I told him a couple of days ago that I needed to buy some new earrings as I had a pair of my favorites.

They were ruby red rosettes.

He came today and gave me a small white paper bag. He said it was for me. I felt it, moved the small object around it had no idea of what it could be.

I opened the bag and there were a studded pair of Ruby red sparkly earrings just like Dorothy from Oz shoes.

So sweet of him.

He jokingly said that they were real rubies and i replied that now I had something to fall back on if I ever get really poor.
