You Made A Busy Mum Very Happy Today And I Nearly Cried
By Fiona • August 23, 2023
I just had the most beautiful experience with Woolworths in Gladstone Park Shopping Centre.
I did an online order for my family and went into store to pick it up. It was a big one due to my youngest daughter’s second birthday. The young man Adrian was lovely and grabbed my order. Happy mum I was and walked off with trolley full of groceries and my toddler. 5-10 minutes later I got 4 miss calls from a number in Sydney, clearly it must be a scam call as I live in Melbourne, I thought. Luckily the online gentleman left a message as I would not have known to call back. When I realised this, I had gotten home and put my daughter down for her afternoon nap.
The online gentlemen (I think his name was William from memory) explained to me that Woolworths Gladstone Park was trying to contact me to let me know that they accidentally left the cold stuff out of my trolley order. I explained to the gentleman online that I had just put down my toddler to sleep and unfortunately I could not return to the store to collect my remaining groceries (to be honest I could not remember what I bought, that could be missing). The online gentleman was so understanding and said he would contact the store and see if they could deliver it to me, free of charge. I was so happy to hear this.
Half hour later the lovely Adrian from Gladstone Park Woolworths, that served me earlier personally dropped off my order. Which totally touch my heart and even gave me a box of chocolates (my favourites too) to say sorry.
Thank you so much for the absolutely beautiful Customer Service I have received today from not only the online team member but the lovely gentleman Adrian from my local Woolies. You should be commended on your Customer Service.
You made a busy mum very happy today and I nearly cried. Thank you.
