A no-kill animal shelter in Galesburg, IL, is putting old arm chairs to good use.
"The shelter pets absolutely love their chairs!" the Knox County Humane Society wrote on Facebook. "If anyone has any older chairs they no longer want, please think of the shelter pets!"
The shelter, which houses about 50 dogs and 50 cats at a time, currently has 22 chairs for the dogs currently up for adoption. The donated chairs are getting a second life helping these dogs stay feel cozy at the shelter.
Since posting a video of the dogs resting comfortably in their chairs, the public has responded in a big way.
"We have had so many chairs donated this morning! Thank you everyone for sharing and donating! The shelter pets send many licks and purrs of thanks!" the shelter wrote in an update.
