"After going through a long-term breakup, I found myself sitting in a hotel room, sobbing with a friend for hours," Hannah began. Just when she thought the evening couldn't get any more emotional, a waiter approached her with a simple yet powerful gesture.

"Before we left, the waiter told us to wait a moment and returned with a cake that had 'things will get better' written on it," she shared.

The photo of the cake, with its comforting message, struck a chord with Hannah, prompting even more tears.
