6 year-old writes a book called 'Chocolate Bar' and raises over $92k for sick friend
March 4, 2013
At just 6 years-old, Dylan Seigel wants to raise one million dollars to help a sick friend with an incurable liver disease.
Dylan wrote a book called, "Chocolate Bar" where all proceeds go to the Jonah Pournazarian GSD 1B Fund at the University of Florida. So far the book has raised $92,000 and counting.
The book is about everything that Dylan thinks is awesome. The term "chocolate bar" replaces the word awesome as shown in the excerpt below.
"I like to go to the beach. That is so chocolate bar."
A local Whole Foods donated many of the chocolate bars. Friends and family helped pitch in to get the book published.
Dylan's goal is to raise $1,000,000 so doctors can find a cure. If you want to help his cause, you can visit the website here.
