Police Officer Drives Woman's Kids To School And Her To Work After Car Trouble
February 12, 2016
An officer's act of kindness is getting the recognition it deserves thanks to a very grateful mother.
Johnni Chevonne Adams
Johnni Chevonne Adams' vehicle had broken down on the side of the road with her children in tow. She wrote, "Thanks so much to Officer Charles Draper!!! What an outstanding, compassionate individual! I had an incident with my car on the Parkway this morning. I was so upset by the time Officer Draper and the tow company arrived."
It's what the Huntsville, Alabama, police officer did next that's touching people's hearts.
Draper helped get her children into his car, drove her son to daycare (and gave him a stuffed animal), dropped her daughter off at school, and even got Mom to work on time.

"And he made me laugh the entire time, really taking the edge off of the frustration I was feeling," she added. "This guy is a class act. You can tell he truly loves to serve his community. I am so impressed. Thanks, Officer Draper! You rock!"
