A Massive Grizzly Is Wary Of Thunder And Lightning
August 15, 2024
In the heart of Turkey's wilderness, a wildlife photographer recently experienced a rare and unforgettable moment with a wild grizzly bear.
Photographer Doganay Vural arranged a variety of food in the middle of the woods and patiently waited to see which animals would come by for a bite. To his surprise, a massive grizzly appeared.

The bear was very cautious, seemingly startled by the flashes of the camera as he approached the photographer's setup. Each time the camera clicked, the bear jumped back. It seemed as though the bear, much like humans, was unnerved by the storm, associating the camera flashes with the lightning that danced across the sky.
@doganayvural Ayı fotoğrafı çekmek nasıl diye soranlara; denklanşöre her bastığımızda bu bakışlarla karşılaşıyoruz işte… Bence güzel. 😄 #u#uludağb#bursaa#ayıw#wildlifev#vahşiyaşamyabanhayatı #vahşidoğa #youtube #kesfet #vahşihayvan #yaban #doğalyaşam #vahşianadolu ♬ orijinal ses - Doğanay Vural
Despite its towering size and powerful presence, the bear's cautious behavior gave it an almost gentle appearance. Viewers have been captivated not just by the bear's immense size but also by how "approachable" it seems in the video.
"Just a friendly doggo," one viewer commented.
"So fluffy," another shared. "If deadly… why shape like fren," wrote another.

Just a reminder: never approach a grizzly bear. They might look friendly, but they are definitely not.
