Small Dog Found At Auto Repair Shop Sparks 'Miracle' Reunion
August 7, 2025
Some stories hit you right in the heart — and this one from an animal shelter in St. Louis is no exception.
A small dog had been spotted wandering around the property of St. Louis Auto Repair. The staff brought her to Stray Rescue of St. Louis to check for a microchip — and sure enough, she had one.

Rescue staff immediately called the number listed on the chip. When a man picked up, he was stunned.
"He said his little dog has been missing for ONE YEAR and ONE MONTH!," the shelter shared on Facebook.
"I'm on my way to work but...oh my god I can't even think about that right now. I'm on my way!" he said on the phone.
Just moments later, he walked through the door—and what followed was one of the most emotional reunions imaginable.
"This guy walks in, crying (now we're all crying too) and we bring the dog out whose tail is going 1,000,000 miles per minute," the shelter said. "They are reunited and we guarantee she's never going to go missing again! These two were so happy to be reunited!"
"Miracles happen!" the shelter added.
