Every Week, This 93-Year-Old Man Buys A Box Of Hershey's Chocolate Bars And Hands Them Out To Strangers

A 93-year-old World War II vet is making an impact in his community -- with chocolate.

Every weekend, Bob Williams walks into a local dollar store in Long Grove, Iowa, and buys a box of Hershey's chocolate bars.
He hands two to the cashiers, a third to the person behind him in line and then sets off around town handing the rest out to anyone he sees.
Bob has been handing out free chocolate bars for the past 10 years. When Hershey's discovered Bob's story in a local magazine, they decided to feature him in their latest marketing campaign.
"It puts a smile on their face," Bob says in a video from Hershey's. "It just makes me feel good."
Over the years, it's estimated that Bob has handed out around 6,000 chocolate bars.
Jan Hartwig-Heggen told CNN that she estimates Bob has given her "two or three hundred" chocolate bars.
And it looks like Bob will no longer have to pay for the chocolate. Hershey's says they are going to make sure Bob has "all the bars he'll ever need."
