Student Gets Teacher’s Handwritten Words Tattooed on Her and His Reaction Says Everything

May 11, 2026

A student got her teacher’s handwritten words tattooed on her, and in this video he sees it for the very first time.

Ashlynn Buschell received a note from him that ended with three simple words: “Keep your head up.”

She never forgot them.

Ashlynn shared: “he inspired me more than words can explain. He always sat his own time aside and listened when I would start talking. He makes sure no kids goes unnoticed and I am one of those kids […] He’s almost like a dad… I wanted to make sure those words stayed with me for the rest of my life.”

His emotional reaction says everything. As one commenter put it: “Those tears say, ‘This is why I became a teacher and it’s really nice to know my efforts have made a difference.’”

“KEEP YOUR HEAD UP.” 👨‍🏫 This student says she got those words her teacher Mr. Watkins wrote tattooed in his handwriting because he “inspired me more than words can explain. He always sat his own time aside and listened when I would start talking. He makes sure no kids goes unnoticed and I am one of those kids […] He’s almost like a dad… I wanted to make sure those words stayed with me for the rest of my life.” ❤️
