I was working at Best Buy, 18, just moved out and I’m paycheck to paycheck (still am, haha!).
Came out to my car to leave and someone had smashed my window to steal burned CDs.
At the same time, a customer was leaving the store. She saw how upset I was and the aftermath and without hesitation, she wrote a check for $200 to replace my window.
I remember to this day that the only thing she asked in return was for me to pay it forward one day.
That woman is my absolute hero to this day.
Kindness rocks.
