My Son Is A Disability Care Worker

By Beverly • March 7, 2024

My son is a disability care worker.

This morning he rang me to help out. His car had broken down in the middle of a busy intersection.

In the back was one of his clients.

He told me that an elderly gentleman had helped him push the car but it was slow going.

Then, out of nowhere four men ran up to help. All unknown to each other. They managed to get the car to the side of the road.

All I had to do was wait and reassure the client while my son organized to get the car restarted.

I just love these acts of kindness. You never know what is in people's hearts but invariably it is goodness. It could have been a terribly distressing time without these wonderful men.
