Honking in Mumbai is so bad, motorists even honk for no apparent reason while sitting still at red lights. So, the city found a way to silence them.
In a video posted by the Mumbai Police on Thursday, new red light countdowns were installed that reset if people honk. The concept is simple: the more you honk, the more you wait.
