Dirk Nowitzki had no idea why Clippers coach Doc Rivers called a timeout with 10 seconds remaining and his team leading by nine points Monday night.
Then Rivers walked up to the scorer's table, picked up a microphone and gave an impromptu tribute to Nowitzki.
"One of the greatest of all time, Dirk Nowitzki!" Rivers said.
