Why Disney's Cinderella Is One Of The Strongest Female Movie Characters Of All Time
May 29, 2018
Hollywood seems to think that a "strong female character" automatically means putting a gun in her hand and bringing out her "masculine" characteristics.
But Disney's Cinderella is one of the strongest female characters of all time because she saves herself from a life of abuse, not by physically kicking ass, but by using kindness, creativity and optimism in the face of adversity.
Cinderella proves that imagination can be very powerful when the outer world seems bleak. Her characteristics are strength from within.
And yet Cinderella has gotten a lot of hate for giving girls a bad role model.
The video below explains why Cinderella is a great role model not just for little girls, but for everyone.
