May 23, 2018
"Once Upon Another Time" is, according to Sara Bareilles, "a song I wrote about the loss of innocence and the nostalgia of childhood."
In this performance of the song, Sara sings for two-and-a-half minutes a cappella before Ben Folds and an orchestra join in. It's a beautiful performance of a beautiful song.
"Sara Bareilles has written a lot of really amazing songs but this one is definitely my favorite. It's just so gorgeous and transports me to an entirely different world," one person commented.
"My entire body is covered in goosebumps and I'm crying! There are no words for how beautiful this is!" wrote another.
"I wanna cry that was flawless and heartfelt... I was frozen from start to finish..."
