Mel Blanc Did Over 1,000 Voices, But This Scene Still Stuns Voice Actors Today

Voice actor Melvin "Mel" Blanc (May 30, 1908 -- July 10, 1989) is best remembered for his work with Warner Bros as the voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Pepé Le Pew, Speedy Gonzales, the Tasmanian Devil, and many of the other characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoons.
Blanc would end up doing over 1,000 different voices in over 5,000 cartoons. At the time of his death, it was estimated that 20 million people heard his voice every day.
In this interview with Hank Azaria, a voice actor for "The Simpsons", he says there is one scene that sets Mel Blanc apart from any other voice actor who has ever existed.
