He Wrote One Of The Greatest Rock Songs Ever. When He Hears Her Sing It Like This, He Breaks Down

June 19, 2015

This is one of the best covers of "Stairway To Heaven" that has ever been performed by anyone.

In this video, Ann & Nancy Wilson of the band Heart, backed up by a choir and a small orchestra, perform Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" - one of the best-known and most-aired rock songs ever written. This tribute performance, from the Opera House in the Kennedy Center, Washington, DC, on December 2, 2012, was for the three living band members of the British rock band: Robert Plant (singer), Jimmy Page (guitarist) and John Paul Jones (bassist and keyboardist).
