After spending years in prison, ex-convicts often struggle to find a way to fit back into society. Many feel alone and suffer from depression.
As part of a program by Pedigree, two ex-convicts were invited to adopt dogs to help get their lives back on track. The pets end up boosting their self-esteem and helping to ease their reintegration into society.
