Nathan Back returned to Utah after serving a two year mission in Samara, Russia. According to his parents, for a period of time after he left, Bailey, (who is a 3 year old Beagle - Black and Tan Coonhound mix) seemed upset. She would go and look for him in his room, scratch on his door or would get excited when someone would come our house, thinking it might be Nathan.

In his letters home, Nathan frequently mentioned how he missed his dog. After his parents picked him up from the airport, they thought it would be a good idea to have him walk in the front door while recording Bailey's reaction.
