What started as a curiosity in Georgia is turning into a landmark in Luthersville as one woman patiently waits to finally unveil a rare bloom that she's waited over 36 years to see.

For 36 years the cactus just sat in her front yard. But when she looked out her window this May, it all of a suddent shot up 25 feet.
