Summitt told the couple that her 3-year-old Lab/Great Dane mix, Tucker, was recently rushed into surgery to have a tennis ball removed from his stomach.

Summitt, who works three jobs, didn't have the money for the $2,700 surgery and was willing to sell her car if she had to. But when the couple settled their $80 bar tab, they surprised Summitt by leaving a $1,000 tip to help pay for Tucker's surgery.
