February 4, 2021
Four high school students in Ostrava, Czech Republic, found a constructive way to deal with the current pandemic measures.
They built a virtual replica of their school where they can meet up while under lockdown.

The students used Minecraft - a video game that allows participants to build and explore infinite worlds - to construct a perfect replica of their school.
The students asked their teachers to send them photos of their classrooms and offices to create the model. Eventually, the creators managed to receive a school plan which helped them to finalize the project.
It took them around 150 to 200 hours in total.

The 2:1 scale replica of a high school also serves as a virtual opportunity to explore the premises for potential applicants to the school.
