Community Helps Homeless McDonald's Employee After Woman Shames Him On Facebook
June 26, 2019
A woman took a picture of a man sleeping in a McDonald's in Georgia and posted a negative Facebook rant about him.
Thanks to her, he's no longer homeless.

Simon Childs, 21, was a homeless father who was resting between his shifts at the fast-food restaurant.
When he heard about the photo posted on Facebook, he was embarrassed and hurt. But when he returned to work, he saw piles of donated diapers for his son, supplies and clothes.

Two local business owners who also saw the post let Childs borrow a car until he could get back on his feet.
Childs said he has received job offers through all this and is excited to possibly get a permanent place for him and his son to live.
"They changed my life in a couple of days," he told the local news outlet.
As for the woman who made the post, Childs says he holds no ill will toward her.
"I'm not homeless, not now, thanks to her," he said.
