Brent is mentally handicapped and is known for riding his bicycle down Main Street, honking his horn and spreading happiness.

Last Thursday, Brent walked into Josh Barnett's office with a black eye.

"He came in my office to say hi, I noticed he had a black eye," Barnett said.

"He pulled out his wallet and said, 'look no money I need milk and juice and food'.

Brent is a giver! He has never asked for money. He must be in need. I don't know if it's medical bills or what, but Brent needs help!"

Barnett handed him $20 but decided he could do more to help. He launched a GoFundMe page to try and raise $500 for Brent.

In just 3 days, Barnett has raised over $32,000 from more than 1,500 donors.

"Brent brought my wife and I so much joy when we were in Logan. We would see him at least once a week riding his bike and he always brought a smile to our face," wrote Jaxon Gift on the crowdfunding page.

"Brent can make anyone smile even on their worst day his smile will warm your heart," Tori commented.

"I can't count the amount of times I would be driving through Logan stressed about a class test or work and I would see Brent smiling and waving. He is always brightening someone's day, now it's time to brighten his," Tyler Bunderson wrote.

"I donated because for 34 years every time I see Brent he makes my day better, Brent can make anyone's bad day the best day, thank you Brent!," Liz Hunsaker wrote.

Barnett says all of the money will go to Brent Carpenter via his family that look after him.
