James' great-niece, Brenna Glodowski, found the posting and shared it on Facebook, asking if anyone has a few minutes to send a card.

"My great uncle put this in the newspaper, unbeknownst to us," she wrote. "If anyone has a few minutes to send a card, I think he would be more than ecstatic to receive it. #CardsforJimmy"
