Dying Veteran Puts Ad In Local Paper Asking Only For Letters To Read

A cancer patient at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota took out a newspaper ad asking people to send him letters during his last days.

James' great-niece, Brenna Glodowski, found the posting and shared it on Facebook, asking if anyone has a few minutes to send a card.
"My great uncle put this in the newspaper, unbeknownst to us," she wrote. "If anyone has a few minutes to send a card, I think he would be more than ecstatic to receive it. #CardsforJimmy"
