Millionaire sends $1000 to a random stranger every day
July 12, 2012
As part of an experiment to make the world a better place, a millionaire who remains anonymous sends a letter with $1000 inside to a randomly selected stranger.
The millionaire came across his fortune by a bit of luck, which may have been from the lottery, or some other source that pays out very big sums of money. Instead of using it to buy materialistic things like cars and toys, he decided he was going to pay it forward.
In an effort to make the world a better place, he sends the lucky recipient a letter that states the following.
"You Are Lucky. You have been personally selected to participate in our exciting new project. $1,000 is yours, to spend on something good."
He signs it with an X to remain anonymous and lets them spend it however they choose. He leaves it with no obligations. He only hopes they spend it in a way that makes the world a better place.
There is a link to his website on the card, www.we-are-lucky.com. On the website is a picture of many of the lucky winners.
Maybe you will be the next lucky winner. If you happen to receive this anonymous letter, what would you do with the money? Leave a comment below!
