Every once in a while, the internet delivers a moment so pure, so unexpectedly wholesome, that it instantly becomes everyone’s new favorite video. And this one stars a little girl with a huge heart — and some seriously impressive smarts.

In the viral clip, Mom and Dad set up a simple cup game: three cups on a plate, each hiding (or not hiding) a treat. Mom has one treat under her cup, Dad has none, and their daughter lucks out with two treats under hers.

But when the little girl realizes Dad didn’t get anything — and sees his pretend “sad” face — she springs into action with a response that’s melting hearts everywhere.

One viewer pointed out something especially sweet: she didn’t just hand Dad her candy. She placed the treat on his plate, then put his cup back over it so he could lift it and feel the excitement of the surprise for himself. Highly intelligent!
