This Is What Fans Did After Being Told The NCAA Canceled The National Anthem Before A Game
May 20, 2015
The NCAA was trying to roll through three Softball Regional games on Sunday in Lafayette, Louisiana. Due to time constraints, the decision was made to cancel playing the National Anthem after the first game.
The fans - and proud patriots - disagreed with that decision, taking matters into their own hands. Even the players stopped doing their warm-ups and took off their caps in respect.
Luke Johnson captured the moment and shared it on Twitter:
"Cajuns fans, upset that the national anthem wouldn't be played a second time today, just started singing. Awesome."
