It's Good To Be Different!
By Gera Cortez • May 16, 2016
Monday?
Most of the working bees would hate it! Well, I used to be one of them, but not anymore.
Don't get me wrong! I am not that workaholic who have starry eyes when the thought of Monday pops out. I am so not that! NOT Now! Maybe in the future, but really not now!
But still, I felt so happy this morning. Try to think of it, I usually hate mornings and still do, but today is somewhat different. Maybe its because of the books I'd read, the sites I visited, and the people I encountered that made me see things differently. Or maybe it's just me being different.
People seems to be wary of being different. They always tend to go with what's in not because they want the idea but because they don't want to be different or the so-called outcast. Yes, it makes me sad knowing that most people regard different people as outcasts. I mean, what's wrong with being different? What's wrong with standing up for your own beliefs? What's wrong with disagreeing with the popular philosophy? Come on, what's wrong with being an individual?
Change is the only constant thing in this world. So maybe, one day, people will change and be happy and proud to be different. Yes, a good different!
