My Daily Quest
By You Are Loved • August 6, 2015
Every single day my daughter and I have a "daily quest" where we do something good for someone else. Usually, I will just pay for someone's coffee behind me in the Tim Hortons drive thru. I don't have much money but I work hard at two and a half jobs and my daughter and I are okay. She donates her allowance to a local animal shelter and we often help out elderly at the retirement home across town. It is such a simple thing to make someone smile and it feels so good. Simple things. I love asking how people are doing. I don't need to know them but I love making them feel like they matter. Because they do.
