An online genealogy platform is bringing old photos to life with animation technology they are calling "Deep Nostalgia".

MyHeritage partnered with D-ID, a company specializing in video reenactment using deep learning, to animate the faces in historical photos and create realistic video footage.
People are going wild seeing their long-lost relatives move, blink and smile for the first time.
