David Schwimmer Recreates Surveillance Video As Police Search For Lookalike Criminal

Police in Blackpool, England, posted on Facebook asking for witnesses to identify a shoplifter.
The post went viral after people commented that the suspect looked exactly like David Schwimmer's character "Ross" from Friends.

"It's not been his day, his month or even his year," one user joked on Blackpool Police's Facebook post.
"I heard his getaway driver was stuck in 2nd gear," another wrote.
The post eventually made its way to Schwimmer, who posted a video on his Twitter page recreating the shoplifter's getaway.
"Officers, I swear it wasn't me," he wrote. "As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation."
