A man in Turkey has taken extreme measures to quit smoking.

İbrahim Yücel, 42, has agreed to put his head inside a cage in an attempt to quit smoking. His wife has the only key and only opens it for meals.

Yücel says he has been smoking for 26 years and really wants to quit. But every time he tries to quit, he gives up after a few days.

"My father passed away from cancer this year and despite that, I could not stop smoking," he said. "Finally, I thought I could stop smoking by making a cage like this. I hope I do not want to drink this cigarette."
