This Cat Shelter Has A Program That Brings Senior Cats To Nursing Homes. The Photo Says It All

The Ohio Alleycat Resource in Cincinnatti has a special program called Pet Adoptions for Loving Seniors (PALS) where they bring senior cats to visit and love on senior citizens in nursing homes.

The shelter visits several nursing homes on a weekly basis to try and help their older cats find a loving home. Because senior cats make great companions, especially for lonely senior citizens, this is a program all shelters should support.
