A couple recently bought a new house and discovered a box turtle has also claimed the property.

"Sometimes he lets me sit by him in return for treats," she said.

"With all of the uncertainty of the past couple of months Terry [the turtle] has brought me a lot of unexpected joy and I wanted to share it."
