Man Tries To Rescue Clark Griswold Decoration From Home's Christmas Display
December 4, 2018
In an attempt to win the neighborhood's Christmas decorations contest, a family in Austin, Texas, recreated the scene from "Christmas Vacation" where Clark Griswold dangles from the roof after his ladder falls.
But it looked so real, a passerby was caught on surveillance footage rushing over with the ladder to rescue the mannequin.
Since then, the family has posted a sign explaining the situation: "Clark G is part of our Christmas display please do not call 911."
