He Was 13 And Shot Her In The Face. Decades Later, She Frees Him From Prison

Ian Manuel was just 13 years old when he shot Debbie Baigrie. Although she survived, he received a life sentence.

About one year into his sentence, he called Debbie to apologize and to wish her a Merry Christmas. He also asked if he could write to her. Debbie eventually forgave Ian and the two began to build an unlikely friendship.

Many years later, Debbie, the woman he shot in the face, helped free him from prison.
