He hasn't seen his family in 3 years because he's been away at college in another country. He also lost 45 pounds while away. So he decided to surprise his parents by showing up for a family gathering with coordination from his older brother.

I don't know what I like the most about this surprise: the student, his mom, or the dad for doing 100% dad-things. I think the dad's my favorite.
