Divers Searching A Sunken Ship Find A Man Alive, Surviving Off A Small Air Pocket In Total Darkness

On May 28th 2013, a South African scuba diving team were conducting a dead-body recovery effort. They were recovering bodies from a Nigerian ship that had sunk three days prior.
What they found is astonishing. A sailor had actually survived by finding a small air pocket for himself as the ship sunk to the bottom of the ocean. For three days Harrison Okene stayed alive with no food, no water, and was in pitch black. I can't imagine the thoughts that went through his head.
