Neil DeGrasse Tyson Reveals NASA's 'Ghost Substance' Called Aerogel

Neil deGrasse Tyson recently took science enthusiast Adam Savage on a mind-bending journey with the captivating material known as aerogel.

Aerogel, often referred to as "frozen smoke" or "blue smoke," is a substance so ethereal and remarkable that it challenges the boundaries of our understanding.

"Aerogel is the most ghost-like solid substance ever spun," Tyson says.

As the two engaged in a conversation about the fascinating properties of aerogel, Tyson unveiled the translucent material, which seemed to defy the laws of physics.
