Scientists Discover Rare 'Spikey Crab' In Eastern Caribbean

A recently cataloged species of spikey crab (Neolithodes) was filmed by EV Nautilus near the Noroit Seamount, Anegada Passage, in the Eastern Caribbean.

This spectacular creature has only been spotted a few times.

The Nautilus is an exploration ship that uses remote operated vehicles to explore the ocean's deepst, darkest and unknown regions.
