Understanding the stress and uncertainty that comes with such situations, Domino's is sending free pizzas to aid stations set up for the evacuees, offering a moment of comfort and nourishment during this challenging time.
"Domino's will provide relief points for all the pizzas that are needed at any time of the day," said Magnus Haflidason, CEO of Domino's Iceland. "Lots of pizzas gone right away. It is simply our duty to help in such a situation."
Domino’s mun sjá fjöldahjálparstöðum fyrir öllum þeim pizzum sem þörf er á hvenær sem er sólarhringsins. ❤️🍕

It is not yet clear how many people will stay in the Red Cross's mass aid centers, but they have been set up in Kórn in Kópavogur, in the sports hall at Sunnubraut in Reykjanesbær and in Vallaskóli in Selfoss.
The Icelandic Meteorological Office said there was a "considerable" risk of an eruption due to the size of the underground magma intrusion and the rate at which it was moving.
"I don’t think it’s long before an eruption, hours or a few days. The chance of an eruption has increased significantly," said Thorvaldur Thordarson, professor of volcanology at the University of Iceland.
