Japan And Senegal Fans Celebrate World Cup Wins By Cleaning Up The Stadium
June 20, 2018
After both Japan and Senegal won their first game at the 2018 World Cup, fans opted to stick around and clean up the stadium before celebrating in the streets.
Videos of fans searching the stands for trash and gathering it up are going viral on social media.
"Japan showed once again why they have the best fans at the World Cup after they stayed behind to CLEAN up the stadium following their win against Colombia," The UK's Sun wrote.
Senegal fans followed suit after a historic win over Poland.
"Senegal achieved a historic triumph," Argentinian TV channel TyC Sports tweeted. "But their fans instead of celebrating minutes after the game are responsible for cleaning their sector before leaving #Respect."
