Laundry Made Me Feel Better
By lori • September 9, 2014
It brought me good memories, of times when I was younger being at home, and helping my mom get the laundry out and take it to my room. Of the simple act of folding clothes and being around people I love. A wave of nostalgia: playing with my dogs in the backyard, eating dinner, playing games with my brother or sister. The literal and emotional warmth was enveloping, and allowed me to push through the other downer thoughts I was having.
So yeah, laundry can be pretty awesome at times.
