Shout Out To A Sydney Taxi Driver Peter...

By Michelle • November 20, 2023

Shout out to a Sydney taxi driver Peter who helped my distressed bestie out at the airport when she went to check in and realised she didn't have her passport.

He got her back to her house, waited and transported her safely back to the International terminal.

Then the kindess continued, with the Air New Zealand staff at Sydney airport who offered only kindness when she presented to check in this morning for her last minute flight to NZ for compassionate grounds due to the death of her mum.

They waived fees for the fact her bag was 2kg over the limit - grief packing doesn't leave someone in a state to carefully weigh their bag. And they gave her a free upgrade to business class as she boarded and helped her do her hair.

As her best mate, stuck in Melbourne and unable to do anything more than be on the phone, these acts of kindness and support from folks makes me weepy.
