Anniversary Blessing

We always go out to dinner in our anniversary. Tonight we went to Montezumas. At the end I was struggling to take a selfie of the two of us when this lovely younger woman offered to take the photo for us.

She and I had exchanged a few smiles throughout the evening. You know when you see people that you know are your people? She’s my people. Anyway she took the photo and I explained that it was our 36 th wedding anniversary. She congratulated us and left.

Imagine our surprise and delight when she came back briefly to say that she had paid for our dinner as an anniversary gift. I was dumbfounded. What a special blessing and from a complete stranger no less!

Thank you lovely lady. Rest assured I will pay it forward. Blessed.
