Shortbreads

I just answered a knock at my front door, and discovered that my new neighbour had left a (delicious) tray of shortbreads.
She was just running off, but came back to tell me that if there was anything I need, to just let her know (there was this nice note with the biscuits as well).
I am a senior, and still well able to manage, but I thought that this gesture was just so nice and thoughtful.
